In order to be paid early, the direct deposit must be recurring. Salary, social security, pension, military payments, and VA benefits are all included. -
How do I sign up for Early Payday?
All you need to do is set up a direct deposit to your Advantage One savings or checking account with your employer or other qualifying source. When we receive your direct deposit information from your employer or other qualifying source, we will deposit it into your account. - How do I set up Direct Deposit?
Setting up direct deposit is easy! Just fill out a Direct Deposit Form , and take it to your HR department or visit GoDirect.gov to set up direct deposit for Social Security benefits. You’ll be able to receive your paycheck quickly, safely, and conveniently! - How does Early Payday work?
A file from your employer or other qualifying source is submitted to the Federal Reserve to start the direct deposit process. The Federal Reserve then notifies the receiving institution, in this case Advantage One, of the amount of money you should receive along with the date that deposit should post. We deposit your money in your checking or savings account when we receive the direct deposit notification. - How long after I set up a direct deposit will it take to start receiving my payment early?
Depending on the source of your deposit, it could take up to 90 days before you start receiving direct deposit, in some cases, it may happen sooner. As soon as we receive your direct deposit from your employer or other source, you’ll receive your payment. - How do I know that my Direct Deposit has been deposited?

Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. Employers do not always submit their direct deposit information at the same time each pay period. For example, one pay period, they may submit it one day early, and the next they may submit it two days early. Unfortunately, we do not have control over the timing, however as soon as we receive your direct deposit, your payment will be posted to your account. You can also enroll in online banking or mobile app text alerts, so you are notified when you receive your direct deposits early. - What if I change jobs?
If you change jobs, you will need to set up direct deposit through your new employer; however as soon as we receive the new direct deposit from your employer, you’ll start receiving the funds earlier than your scheduled payment date. - Can I choose to stop receiving my direct deposits early?
Early Payday is an automatic feature of Advantage One accounts that cannot be stopped, this allows you to get your paycheck sooner and access your money faster.
1Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2-3 days earlier than the scheduled payment date. Advantage One cannot guarantee early deposits in all cases.
